This Privacy Policy describes how the GuestScreen application (“the App”) handles information. The App is provided by VA Guesthouses (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and is installed on televisions in our short-term rental properties to display a welcome screen and provide access to entertainment apps for our guests.
The App does not collect, request, or store any personal information from guests. Guests are not asked to create an account, sign in, or enter any personal details into the App.
Any guest name shown on the welcome screen is provided by our property management system to our own secure server and is displayed on the screen only. It is not entered by the guest and is not gathered by the App.
The App does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, location data, contacts, photos, or any other personal or sensitive information from guests using the television.
The App displays a welcome page hosted on our own server, which may show property information such as the property name, check-in and check-out dates, Wi-Fi details, and local recommendations. It also allows guests to open standard entertainment applications (such as streaming services) that are already installed on the television. Use of those third-party applications is governed by their own privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, or share any guest information collected through the App, because the App does not collect guest information.
The App is intended for use by adult guests in our rental properties and is not directed at children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
